Christopher J. Ruxton (AKA - Topher)
Hello,
I was born and raised in Skagit Valley, Washington. Growing up, I always had a great passion for art, so it was only a matter of time before I would go to college and sharpen my skills, find new inspiration, and begin a career in graphic design.
I attended Henry Cogswell College in Everett, WA and graduated in 2006 with a Bachelor's Degree in Digital Arts. After college I started doing several small projects for friends which influenced me to start my own business. For most of my clients I design a range of things from signs to logos, business marketing material, to most recently, web design.
I've done a lot of oddball jobs here and there, but they all evolve around art or graphics. I also do Social Media Management, and can help you get your business recognized utilizing the many networks available.
I'm looking to expand my skills and meet some amazing folks along the way.
Please feel free to check out my work, and thanks for visiting!

How do I go about the design process?
Have you heard of the "KISS" method? No, not the rock band, it means "Keep It Simple, Stupid!" I try to keep things as basic to start in the beginning of any design process. It's easy to go crazy fast, that's why I start on small concepts and work up from there. Simple designs benefit everyone in the long run. They tend to keep manufacturing & reproductions costs down, for those looking to brand & print their work. It also makes things easier to remember so your product or brand get's the recognition it deserves. But hey, just because I like simple, doesn't mean I keep it that way. Sometimes it's go big or go home, I'm up for a challenge.
